We’re Scribe Media, and our mission is to help everyone on earth write, publish and market their book. The problem is that writing and publishing books are, for most people, a painful and difficult process, loaded with uncertainty and aggravation. Our goal is to make it as simple as possible, so that as many people as possible can do it.
I remember what it was like starting my marketing career 10 years ago and absolutely hating it.
I didn't do this to schedule social media posts that no one would read.
I didn't do this to stare at spreadsheets, optimizing for CPCs.
I didn't do this to support owners of businesses who couldn't care any less about their clients.
So, if you are doing that now in your job, STOP.
You're more capable than the marketing vertical you're stuck working in. You're way more creative than what your job allows you to be. What you are doing isn't even marketing, it's aimless tasking.
It's not marketing. It's not advertising. And in the long run, it's not going to work out for you (or the company you're working with).
