Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to work closely with our Social Media Manager to create engaging content for our clients’ social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.


· Monitors and engages on client social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms

· Assists Social Media Manager in monthly content calendar creation

· Assists Social Media Manager with large projects, events, and community management

· Works as part of a team to develop social media campaigns

· Monitor social metrics to ensure delivery of goals and objectives set forth throughout the year

· Works with MARCOM and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy

· Manages social media communications

Skills Required:

Knowledge of social advertising platforms

Exceptional multi-tasking skills

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience in Macintosh versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a plus

Experience in Adobe programs a plus

Detail oriented

Highly organized

Creative and analytical (strong problem solving skills)

Flexible and able to work under tight deadlines and extended hours as needed

Excellent oral and written communication

Professional Background and Experience:

Four year degree in advertising, communication studies, mass media, marketing or a related major preferred
