Ryan Reynolds Wears Ugly Sweaters For Toronto's Sick Kids Foundation

Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children has launched its holiday fundraiser with help from Canadian actor/businessman, Ryan Reynolds.
Last year, the Deadpool star raised more than $315,000 for the world renowned children’s health centre, while wearing a colourful Christmas present-design sweater.
Unfortunately, with COVID-19 limiting visitors and gatherings at the hospital this year, Reynolds has had to come up with a more pandemic-friendly plan, which includes a humourous video on social media, promoting 'Sweater Love,' in order to raisde money for patient services, and the construction of a new building.
In the video, Reynolds gets a helping hand from NHL star, Auston Matthews, who decided to unintentially wear the same ugly sweater and encourages everyone to donate to the SickKids Foundation. The first $100,000 raised will be matched by corporate partner Samsung Canada.
 See the video below.

Puppies. Ugly Sweaters. An NHL star who’ll eventually stab me in the face with a rusty skate. All for the love of @sickkids. Thank you @SamsungCanada for pitching in and huge thanks to @AM34. https://t.co/ygeVztNgfE pic.twitter.com/H3KVKBLUJm
