Android devices have been vulnerable to scams and security threats for an extended period. Now, Google seems to be proactive in testing some new features that will help in providing a more secure and private cell phone experience to its users. You may know that the release of android 12 in 2021 comes with Google's Security Hub on Pixel mobile phones. The Security Hub was confined to Pixel phones and not on the other phones. It's a feature that keeps checking on your mobile device whether it is in a secure phase or not. A green tick appears on the Security page when your mobile is in safe mode, and if the phone is at risk, a red alert is displayed on the screen, enabling you to handle the security risk. With the upcoming Android 13, Google implements more security features to provide enhanced privacy to users. The company has combined security and privacy on a single page in android OS. Google Play Protect daily scans millions of applications on mobile to assess their performance and identify threats. In Settings, the Security page will show you the apps that can be harmful to your device by offering you an alarming alert after scanning the phone. The red alert will help you resolve the issue and prevent your phone from being a security risk. Furthermore, the privacy dashboard will also provide you a guide to secure your phone at regular intervals. This security update is pretty good stuff that brings out the hidden threats of your phone to your attention.

In addition to it, the debut of android 13 will be integrated with the auto-delete update. As you know, whatever we copy from the internet is stored on a clipboard. Most of the applications installed in smartphones require access to our private information and can also read our clipboard. Based on the data on the clipboard, these apps show us ads. But with the Android 13 rollout, copied text on the clipboard will be automatically deleted. Android 13 will also have a new Photo Picker API, Mainline modules for Bluetooth and ultra-wideband stacks (UWB), new Quick Settings placement API, and many more great updates. For the unaware, The mainline allows developers to roll out new updates without waiting for OEMs to release a new development. Google uses UWB mainline modules to help users fix the updates using Google Play Store. As far as Photo Picker is concerned, it allows you to share the selected media files with the apps demanding access to your phone's photos and videos. So, with the release of android 13, you can restrict apps to access your media entirely. As per sources, Google is applying a programming language, Rust, instead of C/C++.The Android 13 release is expected to come probably at the end of 2022, and we'll update you soon.Read next: Google's Android’s Growth Worldwide Continues To Flourish As One Billion New Devices Activated By Consumers In The Last Year
