What is Inbound Marketing?

Inbound marketing is a type of marketing strategy that focuses on attracting, engaging, and delighting customers through relevant and valuable content and experiences. It is designed to draw potential customers in, rather than actively reaching out to them like traditional outbound marketing methods such as cold calling and advertising. Inbound marketing uses a variety of tactics and channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and more.

The goal of inbound marketing is to create a positive customer experience that will encourage people to engage with a company's brand, build trust and credibility, and ultimately make a purchase or become a loyal customer. Inbound marketing is often contrasted with outbound marketing, which involves actively reaching out to potential customers through methods like advertising and cold calling. Inbound marketing is generally considered to be more effective at generating leads and building long-term customer relationships because it focuses on providing value to the customer rather than simply promoting a product or service.
